Darren is a former British Magical Champion who had performed magic for the King (although he was only a Prince back then!) so you are in safe hands. His shows are jam-packed full of amazing magic, hilarious comedy and tons of audience interaction.

Darren will have music on as people arrive and a chance for you to sell refreshments and raffle tickets. Then he’ll do two different 35-40 minute shows, one more focused on magic and one with more games (and custard pies!) that gets the whole audience involved and joining in.
There’s a break in the middle too to give everyone a chance to have snacks and drinks. There’s also a chance to visit the Dazzling Darren Magic Shop to buy a range of magic tricks and Darren donates 15% of ALL sales back to the school!

Darren will help make sure your PTFA event is a success. Apart from actually selling the tickets he can make sure everything else is planned for you. Everything from recommended timings and ticket prices to help laying out the hall to make sure of the best show possible!

Darren’s fee is £295. This is for 2 x 35-40 minute shows. You can see more about the timings below but these shows along with 10-15 minutes of music before we start and a 15-20 interval makes into a 2 hour event with a great balance of magic and fun along with chance to sell refreshments and make money for your school.
At this price point as long as you sell 60 tickets at £5, or 75 tickets at just £4 then you are into profit as well as guaranteeing a great night of fun for the whole family. All ticket sales above this, plus your refreshment/raffle sales will all be profit you can add to your funds.

The Most Common Questions... Answered!
This package lasts up to two hours. It can be slightly shorter if needed with 75-80 minutes of this beng shows and the rest breaks (with music playing!) to make sure you can sell refreshments and maximise profit!
Yes! If we started the event at 6pm I’d recommend starting the first show at 6.15pm with a break just before 7pm and the second half starting at around 7.15pm.
That 20 minute break is a chance to sell lots of refreshments and make vital funds for your school.
I’ll make a couple of balloons as prizes for my helpers in the shows but I don’t include one for every child.
We are hoping to get as many people in as possible and I just wouldn’t have time to make ALL of them a balloon!
No!
The only consideration is how many people can comfortably fit in your venue, other than that I genuinely think more is better.
As well as making it a great atmosphere you will also make more money for your school. More ticket sales, refreshment sales, raffle proceeds. I want you to make as much money as possible for your school while we have lots of fun on the night!

Don’t worry, I provide ALL the prizes for the show. One less thing to stress about. I provide mini trophies, magic tricks and other star prizes!
As I’ve mentioned a few times above I can’t sell the tickets for you so this is what you need to spend your time focusing on. Then on the night when the people are there, I’ll do the rest!
Ideally I’d like 30 minutes to set up so keep this in mind when choosing your start time.
That gives me time to set up my equipment and show to be ready, with music playing, when the first people arrive.
You may need longer to set up the room so keep this in mind as well.
Yes I have a full and enhanced DBS check and I subscribe to the update service.
Upon booking I’ll send a link to my online DBS, Public Liability and Risk Assessment Documents.
Just a note, I don’t carry a physical copy of these documents on the day.
This package is £295. This includes all the prizes and giveaways.
I take a £100 deposit for all bookings. This is payable via PayPal or internet banking/bank transfer at the time of booking to secure your date.
The balance is then payable on the day of the event in cash, via bank transfer or by PayPal before the show starts.
